When it comes to jewellery, I like sophisticated and finely crafted, statement pieces. The entire Zariin collection is so thoughtful and screams class, elegance, and craftsmanship through it’s every unique piece. No wonder, Zariin was my choice as a jewellery partner for my ‘evening gowns post’ on Martini On Heels!
The quintessential factor while styling your evening gowns or evening look is- ‘ how do you pair your jewellery?’ There are few tips that I always keep in mind.
- Going overboard is a strict no-no I chose a statement ring and earrings from Zariin’s latest collection ‘Sultana’. I skipped a neck piece, and kept it minimal and classy. Read more about ‘Sultana collection’ below
- Little experiment did harm nobody, but skip going too experimental with your classy evening wear
With this particular look, since there was no scope to support anything on the neck, I chose a pendent from the Zariin’s ‘Pearl Kissed Redux collection’ and wore it the other way around. Have a look below.
- You can always use jewellery to uplift your outfit and take it to another level
I teamed this beautiful corals, lapiz lazuli, malachite and black onyx studded ‘glory of constantinople’ head piece with ‘cyra’ choker necklace to elevate the look. If your outfit is simple and classy, then use a statement piece to define it!
- A little hint of jewellery just to complete the look
This is exactly what I love about Zariin’s collection. It can help you balance your look without going jazzy. The entire collection is so versatile that I can conveniently pair it with my Indian or Western outfits.
- Handcuff your look
One of my favourite pieces is from ‘day and night collection’ of Zariin. I find handcuffs really elegant and versatile as it immediately adds oomph to your outfit! I paired this beautiful handcuff with earrings from the same collection.
About Zariin’s latest collection ‘Sultana’
With direct inspiration from the artefacts and ancient influences of the Byzantine era and Art Nouveau elements, Zariin introduces beautifully crafted range of jewellery with intricate details, extravagant colours and rich statement pieces. The social significance of jewellery in the Byzantine era was greater than ever as suggested by the abundance of coin and jewellery relics. Our muse from that time, empress Theodora is seen adorned with elaborate jewels in all its splendour. Theodora, broke out from the barriers of a patriarch society to rise from ashes to become one of the most effective empress of the time. A feminist in her approach, her story is synonymous with self-determination – a quality we value want the Zariin woman to thrive on.
Strong and stylish chokers, big glamorous earrings, cascading necklaces and powerful rings set with Coral, Malachite, Black Onyx and Lapis Lazuli imparting colours that spell royalty. With this collection, Zariin defines luxury with its attention to detail. Each piece has intricate jaali work on the back inspired by the Byzantine pieces. The jewellery is a stylish reminder to rule your own life. You are your own queen. You are the “Sultana”.
